Based in Winnipeg and Los Angeles, Fiasco Global Media is a female-led independent studio focused on scripted comedy and drama series. We believe television should be fun and escapist—built to be enjoyed, memed, and remembered. Our focus is on scripted comedy and drama that feels sharp, accessible, and genuinely rewatchable.

Stories with bite. Drama with a pulse. Comedy that goes viral. Series built to become global brands and travel by connecting with viewers. Transportive, emotional, sometimes ridiculous, but always intentional with characters you don't just invite in—they move in and rearrange the furniture.

We're always building a slate of drama and comedy series for Canadian, US and International audiences. From optioning IP to developing with bold new voices and collaborating with showrunners, we're focused on creating standout series projects with global reach. The kind of shows that make noise... and stick around.

FIASCO GLOBAL IS

The President of this Fiasco is Jennifer Beasley—a WGC-nominated writer and veteran producer. Her credits span two decades of Canadian hits including LESS THAN KIND (HBO Canada), CRA$H & BURN (Showcase), MEN WITH BROOMS (CBC), and THE SPENCER SISTERS (Bell Media). She is also Executive Producing ACTING GOOD (CTV/APTN), the groundbreaking Indigenous-led broad family comedy now entering its fourth season and ranked as one of CTV's most-watched comedies. On the film side, she most recently Executive Produced RUMOURS (Cannes 2025), the surreal horror satire starring Cate Blanchett.

Fiasco's development is led by Burrad Marsh, a former literary agent and seasoned executive who has spearheaded series at major independent studios across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. His cross-border work  includes FLASHPOINT (CBS/Paramount), 18 TO LIFE (ABC/CW/CBC), and CARTER (CTV/SONY/WGN). His experience spans formats, genres, and markets—with a sharp eye for commercial storytelling that travels.
